Knights Inn Franklin

Location: the hotel was near to Kings and Eat n Park and the hillside immediately behind the motel and Franklin and Oil City. The rooms of our place were brand-new with a king-size bed.

The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.

The room was brand-new, with 2 beds.

Though the hotel is somewhat dated, it proved adequate for my needs with clean rooms and a friendly staff. Amenities were minimal, and the bathroom could have used more attention, but for the price, it was a fair choice. Breakfast was simple-just coffee and cereal-but convenient if you’re in a hurry.

It has amiable, immensely pleasant staff.

I liked this hotel, it was perfectly fine with free wi-fi. The property was in a marvellous location, next to good resturant.

Toilet troubles

I stayed for 1 night and the room was actually decent, but man, the toilets were a mess. The first room had a leaky toilet and the staff said maintenance wasn't around. They moved me to another room where the flush handle broke! I had to use a bungee cord to get it to work. Needed some serious maintenance. The breakfast was okay, though.

great access to parks and historical landmarks for city explorers

The central location makes it easy to enjoy nearby attractions like the wonderful River Ridge Golf Course, just about 3.5 km away, as well as the charming DeBence Antique Music World, about 3 km from here, which are perfect spots for leisurely afternoon walks. The overall ambiance of the place could definitely use some improvement .

The room offered decent enough space for the cot we needed while visiting family. The bedding and towels were clean, made a small difference amid the overall wear and tear.

Toilets leaked, troublesome, with one shooting water out when we first entered. The doors didn't latch properly, and a broken sliding glass door was a hassle to use. Breakfast lacked variety-only simple cereals and toast were available. The hotel feels tired and in need of serious maintenance. For the price charged, there are much better options out there.

We spent 2 nights in a smoking room with two queen beds, and we loved the cozy vibe it had. The pool and hot tub were just what we needed to unwind after busy family activities. A minor hiccup was that the bathroom could've used a bit of extra attention, but overall, it reminded me of a great spot for our family gatherings 😊
